Mission for Nutrition: Workout/Meal plan 11/15, 11/16

Hey ladies!

So for my workout yesterday, me and my boyfriend went on a two mile walk.  Some days you don't feel like doing anything too strenuous, but that's okay! Walking is great for you, and even walking two miles everyday is a great way to get some exercise in.  Find a path or a track near your house to get in a relaxing, yet, effective workout in!

Today I did the Kick Box Power workout video that is On Demand, and let me tell you! If you ladies...or gents...are looking for an effective at home workout that doesn't cost $100, try this 43 minute cardio blast that makes you sweat like crazy.  I have a feeling I will be doing this workout for a while.  Even my boyfriend was sweating. This is not a workout only for a woman, this will workout ANYONE out.

Here is what I ate Thursday and Friday:

11/15:
Breakfast:
Steel cut oats, Danon yogurt

Lunch:
Healthy Choice Cheese Tortellini

Dinner:
Morning Star Veggie Nuggets (love these!)

Today, 11/16:
Breakfast:
Yogurt

Lunch:
This leftover indian chicken I made a few nights ago with a small caesar salad.

Dinner:
Whole wheat pasta with a marinara and sausage sauce

I am so bad at remembering to drink water though! I am sipping on some as we speak, but I really have not had enough today.  What do you ladies do to remember to drink water? Or is this just a huge task for me? Lol!

Ladiessss & Gents? lol...

Hey! I know I haven't posted in a week, but don't worry, I have still been doing my workouts.  I have had a few exams over the last week, and as many of you know I am away at college, so I had a hectic week.  The presidential election was at the beginning of this month and I didn't vote absentee, so I was supposed to take a test on Tuesday, then drive home, and then stay home the rest of the week through Sunday because Saturday 11/10 was my birthday and I had planned to be home that weekend anyway.

Well...on Tuesday, my professor postponed the exam until Tuesday! So I was pissed! I had to still go home Tuesday after classes so I could go home and vote, but then I had to drive back to my school Wednesday, take my test Thursday, drive back and spend my birthday weekend with my family and friends, and THEN drive back to school for the last time on Sunday.  So anyways, I was super busy! But while I was at home I got some cardio in by talking walks with my boyfriend around the neighborhood, and I also discovered a really good workout On Demand, which is the workout I want to talk about today!

The workout is free On Demand, and it's called Kick Boxing Power.  It has this latino guy who guides you and it is super fun and fast paced.  I like this workout because it is 43 minutes long and it gets me really sore and winded, but it's not something that I can't complete.  Like some workouts I feel like half way through I just can't DO.  But this one works your whole body at different times and it is just the perfect balance of a workout.  Not to mention the guy makes it really fun. So I am about to do that now!

I was also thinking about getting Insanity soon! If any of you have tried Insanity let me know what you think about it!

Okay guys once again, I apologize for being gone. Please forgive me :)
